1) Before you start: set languages and check internet

Voice and text translation generally rely on cloud processing, so an active internet connection is usually required for translation requests. If a request does not return a result, first check connectivity and resend.

Tip: Before travel, confirm your source/target languages and microphone permission in the app.

2) Real travel conversations: use short, clear turns

You usually get better flow by speaking one short idea at a time, then waiting for the translated result and local response.

Directions: Ask destination first, then ask follow-up details.
Food ordering: State your main request first, then refine quantity or preference.
Transport: Confirm time and destination, then clarify passenger/luggage needs.
Hotel support: Start with check-in/check-out or urgent request, then add details.

3) Two-way voice translation flow

Speak: Tap mic and say one sentence (or type text).
Listen: Let the translated voice play aloud.
Reply: Switch direction and continue in turns.

This keeps the conversation understandable and reduces confusion during travel.

4) Save repeated phrases for speed

If you frequently use the same requests, save them in favorites/history for faster reuse. This helps in recurring travel situations such as route checks, payment confirmation, and short service requests.
